Had the most incredible Omakase experience at Blue Pagoda. Every course was beautifully done — from the delicate mozukusu and soft-boiled octopus to the insane lineup of bluefin tuna and A5 wagyu nigiri. You could taste the care and quality in every bite. The caviar bump and negitoro hand roll were standouts, and the matcha cheesecake was the perfect finish. Huge props to the chef and team — this place is a gem. Can’t wait to come back!

One of the best Omagase experience I've been to. The place is decorated in japanese minimalist zen-like with beautiful bonzais and artistic rocks with zamurai swords. The service was warmth and attentive (with ratio of 1 server + helpers per 6 customers) and there were 4 chefs behind the counter. We began with 4 courses of amuse-bouche which all gave great balance of flavors. Follow by the main course of 10 nigiri, all amazingly fresh and well balance with perfect amount of garnish, some of which were very interesting such as edible gold dust, truffles, smokey flavor from torching, or just simple pickle. We actually ordered an extra nigiri from the daily special options that was offered after the nigiri course. We chose the wagyu A5 top with fresh uni and the flavor and texture was so rich but so good! After that it was wrapped with a sear black god over rice, which was OK. A bit too dry. And the last course was a dessert of tiny taiyaki over green tea pudding and strawberry. I have to say that this is the worse dessert course that end an otherwise very nice dinner experience to end it with a dessert that was not on par with the rest of the dinner at all. The taiyaki itself was almost rancid, obviously was made a while ago and reheat. The pudding was so-so and the strawberry was half-frozen and sour. Overall food was amazing except the skippable dessert. The service and ambient was great. IMO, a great value for omakase, not crazy expensive. It will be one of my top choices for omakase in the bay area.

If you are in the South Bay, this is a must if you want an amazing Omakase experience for a great value! We were so lucky to be able to get in at Blue Pagoda this past weekend as it was packed whwn we went! It is such a lovely experience and I did not want it to end. To start off, the restaurant is on the smaller side, making it feel extremely intimate. We were seated at the bar and it was such a special treat to watch the chefs make our food with much heart and passion. For each course, they would plate it for us individually, making each course so fresh. The evening that we went, it was a 14 course menu and every single course was just absolutely amazing. We had a server was right there for any special asks we had and was very accommodating. Though the 14 course is more than enough, we ordered 2 more nigiri’s each at the end because it was just that delicious. My husband and I each ordered a drink, the matcha strawberry sake and my husband ordered the martini drink. Both were delicious and consumed a bit too quickly. Lastly, the owner came out to greet us and check in on the overall experience. This was greatly appreciated as he asked for constructive feedback since they wanted to continue improving their dining experience.

We found out about Blue Pagoda through Chef Lang's Instagram as we used to order sushi when he had a kitchen in Santa Clara. Blue Pagoda is still going through their soft opening phase, yet everything was great. Friendly staff and amazing food. They were able to accommodate my partner's allergies, which is great. We did the omakase and sake flight pairing. The portion was reasonable and we didn't need extra food

First omakase experience and it was amazing! Delicious bites and things I normally wouldn't order tasted very yummy. First time having chawanamushi and it did not dissapoint. All the nigiri bites were flavor bombs and so balanced. The yuzu cheesecake had little bits of yuzu and was the perfect asian dessert (not too sweet) We also got the StrawBmatcha sake, Noah Lychee - Rita and blackberry pineapple tequila sour-they were allll so good. The Lychee Rita is my new favorite all time drink Service was top tier! The owner was so nice, checked on us often and gave us some extras that really topped off the experience. They change their menu monthly so will be excited to try their rotation for another friends outing!
